well when i make my hair wavy kinda like that it takes a little while but ill tell u the steps i do.
1. after u get out of the shower put mousse in it (i use herbal essance, but you can use whichever you want)
2. put your hair in loose braids for about 20-30 minutes
3. while the braids are in, take a hair dryer and dry your hair
4. take the braids out run your fingers through your hair
5. get garnier fructis surf hair matte stuff and use the directions on there
this is just what i do, but i thought i might share it with you, even if you dont like it, but whatever. hope i helped!

After getting both my hair thinned and layered, it really helped me to be able to deal with my hair now and I love it. This will only work if you are willing to work with your hair which it sounds like you are willing to do if you have less hair to deal with.

How to deal with curly poofy hair in the summer?
i got my egyptian side of the familys super curly q hair. usually its ok and pretty but now that summer is coming it just gets frizzy and poofy! i used to straighten it too and it would come out really nice, but the humid hot weather is completely ruining it...
im considering getting a japanese straightening thing done.

well blow dry it, when you let it air dry it poofs up, so dry it fast and use a round brush and smooth it out. also smoothing milk works wonders, just get like a dime size in your wet hands and work it into your hair, i do it and its amazing.

Also, a protein treatment works wonders for me (I use Ion brand from Sally beauty supply. Try to stay in a cool, dry place until you hair is completely dry and sealed with oil. Any oil will do-they are all the same stuff.

Last got2Be Instant tolerance- great but be careful it can be sticky if you go crazy :-)

Yeah I think you would suit it, I would keep your fringe though but have it trimmed above your eyes! Def go for layers as you can rock it up by scrunching it with wax or have it smooth - works both ways! Good luck, I would go for a change and go shorter. I did and feel like a new person lol :)

soo i%26#039;m pretty sure i want to go blonde, but not with a build up of highlights i%26#039;d rather just do it in one go and then build up afterwards to a suited colour.

Well I think you look gorgeous with brown hair because it totally suits your skin tone, but I think you could pull off blonde hair it just wouldn%26#039;t look AS good.
Also get rid of those damn extensions they ruin your hair, scene is so out so get rid of em!! You%26#039;d be 10x prettier

Mostly because they didnt have the right personality to suit it. You dont have to be stupid(i know im not but im not a nerd either!). But to me a true blonde it sounds like it would totally work for you!!

no i%26#039;m not fishing for compliments it%26#039;s a real question. you see i had my hair dyed purple (something i always wanted to do) but now i want to start working so i used a hair color remover to try to get the purple out. well...it turned the purple pink. so now i have frizzy cupcake pink hair with platinum blonde coming out of the back.
so i am now getting it professionally done but i can decide between the 2 color Red Or Blonde. I have been Both colors and have been told both look beautiful but i just can%26#039;t decide so i will post 2 links and i just ask for your honest opinions of what hair color you think would suit me best? Because sometimes other people may notice things in a different perspective that i might not have.

So I have long, mildly fizzy straight hair. I want to know what product I should use to make it look shiny, silky, smooth, and frizz free. Any suggestions?

Don%26#039;t buy Pentene, I promise. I used to use that too, until I went to cosmetology school. I learned that a lot of brands that you can buy at drug stores, they claim that they can make your hair shiny, but most are added with a kind of wax. And when heat, such as blow dryers, curling irons, flat irons, when your hair comes into contact with heat, with the wax in the hair, it is very damaging for it! Here are some suggestions, after you%26#039;re done washing your hair, for the last rinse, rinse it in very cool water, that will seal the cuticle, making your hair lay smoothly. If you can%26#039;t stand the cold water, using the blow dryer, after you%26#039;re all done blow drying, there is a cool shot button, by using that, it seals your cuticles too.
And product wise, I personally use Biosilk. It is a bit more expensive, but the results are great! When you are buying for any kind of hair products, try looking for %26#039;mica%26#039; in the ingredience, mica is a shiny agent that makes your hair super shiny!

It%26#039;s amazing, you%26#039;ll love it, its like 3 or 4 bucks, lasts forever. Olive Oil has a yellow tint and no smell. My step mom started making me buy the proclaim because Olive Oil is expensive =) Vegetable Oil works too.
Also, if you%26#039;re looking for cheap shampoo and conditioner, suave has this straightening or silkening kind in an orange bottle, it works amazing, and they have an anti frizz cream which works even more amazing. I use it with my proclaim serum because again, I have curly hair, which is always dry and frizzy. The orange stuff is actually made for people with straight hair, but it really tames the frizz on my crazy curls and makes it super soft and silky. They compare it to the matrix sleek look which is the same exact thing, only sold in salons, in a much smaller bottle, for four times the price. I%26#039;ve used both matrix and suave sleek look and i can%26#039;t see a difference.

i always straightening my hair after taking a shower.
but these days I%26#039;ve straightened my hair like 3 times with a little bit product(wax) all over my hair,
wondering why???? because i got a new wax which didn%26#039;t completely get off when i took shower,
and i thought that it wouldn%26#039;t happened anything.but it did. i could see the head bottom clearly all over the head(top head)
which i wouldn%26#039;t before the %26quot;accident%26quot;. my hair is curly and WAS thick. k i don%26#039;t like thick and uncontrolled hair,
but i don%26#039;t want to show my head bottom.
Did it burn away? will it grow back? any ideas?
could it be that its something else?

Erm yea i reckon you just burnt it a bit. Yer i%26#039;m pretty sure that it will grow back just hold off on the straighteners maybe once the hair grows back and you want to continue straightening it then buy some protector spray which is what i use.

No it didn%26#039;t burn away. straighteners don%26#039;t do that. stop using wax!

Don%26#039;t just get something %26#039;cos it%26#039;s cool - get something that suits your face shape. Not all fringes suit everyone. You need to ask your haidresser what she thinks will look best on you, flick through magazines and have her give her input.

She was really examining my scalp while she was washing my hair. Then she asked me if I wash my hair every day. Well, I do most days because it just feels better when it%26#039;s freshly shampooed. But when I asked her why she asked, she said she was %26#039;just curious%26#039;. What was she really looking for? Does washing your hair every day do something to your scalp?

its not easy to do by yourself
if someone else can french braid they will know what to do
put all of your hair that wont be in the braid in a pony tail then just french braid until your hair reaches behind your ear and fix it with a rubber band so no one can see it
i just go an inch or so back from my hairline and braid sideways!
its really cute if you spiral curl your hair!

my friend has hair kinda like that length wise. she curled her hair the other day with a really teeny curling iron so she could get full ringlets but she didn%26#039;t curl it all the way to the root so it wasn%26#039;t so puffy. it looked cute but the best way to find a cute way to curl it would be to experiment.

Easy, cute LIGHT haircut for summer?
I need a haircut because my hair is becoming too long and heavy. It%26#039;s pretty thick, straight and blonde. I don%26#039;t want to spend a lot of time on my hair when I style it and I like being able to brush it and go, but I don%26#039;t mind styling it with product and blow dryer when I get out of the shower.

If you want a shorter style the angled bob is totally in. It takes no time to style and looks great. But if you want longer hair long layers are always easy. Like the girl in the pic.

I need a new hair idea. Its about 8-9 inches below my shoulder, 2 inches above my elbow. Last 4 inches are angle layers, but just in front. Then a couple face framing layers. Any new ideas?
