you should get a layered hair cut. for styling, use a curl controlling gel

thinning with thinning scissors doesnt make it ugly!
Reply:you should get a relaxer

its the best way
Reply:First thing you want to do is brush it

Till you have all the tangles out.

Then straighten all of it.

And hair spray with flexible hold hairspray.

Reply:i dont think there is, sorry :(
Reply:Alright, you have a problem I used to have. Trust me on this one, the thinning of your hair with thinning scissors WILL help IF it%26#039;s done RIGHT. Meaning the hair is thinned on the underside of your hair rather the top side of your hair. That is what a lot of people have done and that%26#039;s the wrong way to do it. Thinning it on the underside of your hair allows the top layer to keep it down and from poofing out.

Also, get layers, to reduce the bulkiness of your hair, not the ones that are extremely choppy though. Get a layered hair that has two layers, barely an inch a apart. It helps reduce the bulk of the hair after it%26#039;s been thinned out. After you do that, if you straighten your hair, it will lay a lot flatter and be a lot easier to deal.

Also, a product that will help is Garnier Fructis Sleek %26amp; Shine and/ or Herbel Essences Rasberry Scent made for Long hair. Both of those shampoos work to help reduce the frizz and nastyness of the hair. Also another product that could help is Garnier Fructis Sleek %26amp; Shine Deep Conditioner or Leave In Conditioner. And lastly, Paul Mitchell%26#039;s Super Skinny Serum helps a lot too. I use it all the time after I straighten my hair.

This is my hair now:

Trust me it%26#039;s not that big because I%26#039;m leaning sideways, it%26#039;s that big because it was that thick.

After getting both my hair thinned and layered, it really helped me to be able to deal with my hair now and I love it. This will only work if you are willing to work with your hair which it sounds like you are willing to do if you have less hair to deal with.
